Donations are welcome but not necessary to spend time at NBR.
Cabin 2 is closest to the road and you can drive right up to it. It has a double bed and twin bunk beds. There is room in the loft for two people with sleeping bags. This cabin is about 150 yds from the bath house

Camp Rules
Campground
- Respect the wilderness and its animal life.
- Put all trash in locked green garbage cans between kitchen and bathhouse.
- No food in tents. Chipmunks and bears like it too much.
- Put all coolers inside cars or building when you leave camp. We have black bears.
- Use only the water and power you need. We are completely solar powered including the well pump.
- Keep vehicles on established roads.
- Stay on treed side of yellow topped t-posts to protect nesting spots of Sage Grouse. We have a conservation easement to protect the grouse.
- Dogs must be on leash or easy verbal recall.
- Horse manure and hay scraps must be picked up in campground and placed in designated spot.
- No mind-altering drug use in camp including alcohol and marijuana.
- Kitchen trailer is licensed as a vegetarian commercial kitchen. So, no meat can be prepared or cooked in trailer. You are welcome to bring a grill or camp stove for cooking meat.

Guest Facilities
Bathhouse
The central bathhouse is warm and modern. The ladies' side has 3 showers, 3 toilets, and 3 sinks. The men's side has 3 showers, 2 toilets, 2 urinals, and 3 sinks. The bathhouse is all solar-powered. We have our own well.
Sunroom
A sunroom is attached to the side of the bathhouse. It has tables and chairs and is enclosed in glass windows. It can seat about 40 people.
Kitchen trailer
A kitchen trailer is available to rent. It is licensed as a vegetarian commercial kitchen, so no meat can be prepared or cooked in it. It has a 6 burner gas stove, grill, 2 commercial-sized ovens, 18 cu ft refrigerator, sinks, and counter space for prep. Cleaning deposit required.
Firepit
There is a large central fire pit that easily accommodates groups of 20.
Topography
The ranch is about half sagebrush and half pine trees with deep ravines and scenic overlooks. We have walking paths and a few interior roads.
Sage Grouse Easement
NBR has a conservation easement on most of the open areas of the ranch to provide a safe habitat for the Sage Grouse which is a threatened species. Please stay on the roads in the open sagebrush areas. Feel free to hike anywhere on the areas with trees and in the ravine behind the campground. Please ask if you have any questions about exploring an area.
